Speech Presentation and Orientation Meeting
Milestones Guntersville Speech Club has just completed its inaugural year in Marshall County. We are already looking forward to the coming school year and would like to invite area home school families to our Presentation and Orientation Meeting.
Parents and home schooled children (age 12 or over by January 1, 2013) will be introduced to the art of public speaking. Watch students deliver various speeches. Learn how your children can gain lifetime skills of effective communication, research, and critical thinking... not only for themselves, but to further God's kingdom.
Younger children (ages 7-12) will also be introduced to junior speech.
Learn about the different opportunities available to your students. Guntersville: Thursday, April 26, 6:30 – 8:30 P.M. at Lake City Assembly of God (5024 Spring Creek Dr, Guntersville)

There is a co-op in Somerville for grades pre-k through 12. The way the co-op works is all the parents work together to teach and assist with the classes. I just wanted to let everyone know about it, and I will be teaching chemistry next year. I know chemistry can be a bit intimidating to do own your own, so if you are looking for a place to take chemistry come join us. Not odd at all. The school colors are royal blue and gold. We don't have a mascot per se but she could choose one that is meaningful to your family.

This may be an odd question, but my daughter is a high school junior this year and thinking about ordering her class ring. She would like to include the school colors and school mascot on her ring, but we don't know what that is. Since she has not participated in any sports with our school, it's never come up. If anyone knows this information, could they please post it.

A couple of things about the books I have. I copied pages out of the math book so the pages are perforated and torn out, but placed back in page order and bound with a rubber band. Test booklet is with it fully bound. The Easy Grammar for 3rd grade is also what is taught in fourth grade so it can be used for both 3rd and 4th grade, which I did and it worked fantastically!!
