Course Title: Engineering the Future
Description: A project-based learning experience exploring many facets and disciplines of engineering from market research to prototype design and build, energy–saving technology, manufacturing and quality control issues.
Four hands-on team projects will be completed.
Students will learn:
• How advances in technology affect human society, and how society determines which technologies will be developed
• The complimentary relationships between science, technology, and engineering
• How to use the engineering design process to solve all kinds of problems
• How to apply fundamental concepts about energy to a wide variety of problems
